The 11'9" Eddyline Rio Lightweight Recreational Sit-in Kayak is created specifically for smaller-framed paddlers seeking a recreational kayak that offers lively performance and agile maneuvering. At a length of less than 12 feet and a weight of only 35 pounds, the Rio provides a comfortable and stable experience, while still offering a playful and efficient hull. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced paddler, the Rio will entice you to try out more advanced paddle techniques.
The Rio comes with a Backrest but the Backband is available as an option.
Please enjoy the Rio, and all recreational kayaks, in lakes, Class I-II flowing rivers, and near shorelines in fresh and saltwater. Contrary to the Forbes magazine ‘2022 Buying Guide’, the Rio is not suitable for Arctic or other expeditions. Your Eddyline dealer can guide you to the right kayak for your paddling conditions.

- PREORDER
- If you see (PREORDER) in the color selection for a kayak, that kayak is not in-stock but is currently on order and should be delivered in the coming weeks. This is a great way to reserve a kayak that is currently on the way to the shop. When you place a (PREORDER), we will follow-up in 1-2 business with our scheduled arrival date. You will then have an opportunity to either keep your order or cancel the order at no charge.
- SPECIAL ORDER
- If you see (SPECIAL ORDER) in the color selection for a kayak, that kayak is not something we normally have available in our shop. We are happy to order the kayak in for you and have it added to our next shipment from Eddyline. Currently (SPECIAL ORDER) kayaks from Eddyline take 3-4 months to arrive. (SPECIAL ORDER) kayaks will have a 25% restocking fee if returned or cancelled.
